JDM Premium Returns & Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • We accept returns only if the engine is defective, misrepresented, or damaged during shipping.

  • No returns are accepted for:

    • Buyer’s remorse (e.g., incorrect fitment, changed plans).

    • Engines modified, installed, or tampered with after delivery.

    • Parts damaged due to improper handling post-delivery.

2. Return Timeframe

  • 30 days from delivery date for inspection/claims.

  • No exceptions after 30 days (due to the high-value, perishable nature of engines).

3. Required Documentation
To process a return, you must provide:
Clear photos/video of defects (sent within 48 hours of delivery).
Original packaging (if damaged in transit).
Proof of purchase (invoice/order number).

4. Refund Options

  • Full refund (minus shipping costs) for verified defects.

  • Replacement engine (subject to availability).

  • Store credit (if preferred).

5. Shipping Costs

  • Customer pays return shipping unless the error is ours (e.g., wrong part shipped).

  • Freight returns must use our approved carrier (contact us first).

6. Warranty Coverage

  • 90-day limited warranty on engines (covers internal defects, excludes wear items like seals/gaskets).

  • Warranty void if:

    • Engine is disassembled or swapped into another chassis.

    • Lack of proper maintenance (oil starvation, overheating, etc.).

7. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email support@jdm-premium.com with:

    • Order number.

    • Photos/video evidence.

    • Reason for return.

  2. We’ll respond within 3 business days with instructions.

8. Non-Refundable Items

  • Core charges (refunded only if core is returned undamaged).

  • Shipping fees (outbound and return).

9. Restocking Fees

  • 20% fee applies if return is approved for non-defective items.
